eCard in your inbox?

We all love getting Valentine's Cards. And nowadays, as everybody does more online and is watching out for the environment, eCards are becoming more popular. And no less romantic, some would say.

A friendly word of advice…

If you click on an eCard and get directed to a Valentines 'card site that asks you to update your Flash player or perform some other operation, do not do it.  There is every chance that  you will be installing a virus or trojan on your computer rather than performing an update on a necessary program.

Another safety rule: If the email message does not tell you who sent the e-card, do not risk opening it.

Oh, and a happy Valentine's Day from Get Safe Online.
