Online Safety – The Internet and You – Peer to peer session for all Get Safe Online Ambassadors with Roxanne Anderson and Liz Stanton
Wednesday 27th July at 10:00 EASTERN STANDARD TIME (EST)
I would like to say a massive thank you to Roxanne Anderson (and Liz Stanton) who has agreed to present her recently developed presentation ‘Online Safety – The Internet & You’. Roxanne has written this with a little odd tweak from GSO and has been presenting this live to students in Jamaica.
It’s a great opportunity to learn something new or to fine tune what you already know.
We are all here to learn , discuss and share ideas and thoughts with other awesome ambassadors.
Rob Harvmann, Ambassador Scheme Coordinator.
Roxanne Anderson is from the Broadcasting Commission in Jamaica, who will share with you some great tips she has brought together in her own session. She has been an Ambassador from the very start of the Scheme, nearly 2 years ago.
The presentation seeks to provide young people with factual, unbiased information, that will assist them to navigate the digital world safely. Just like the real world, where we cannot control every single aspect, so too is the digital world but with the proper tools such as digital literacy and online safety presentations such as this, we hope that young people will be able to protect themselves and safeguard their digital footprint.
