Can you help us to understand the impact of connected smart devices in the UK?

The UK Government’s Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) has commissioned the Centre for Strategy and Evaluation Services (CSES) to carry out a study to understand cybersecurity issues of consumer smart devices in the UK. These include internet-connected security, heating and lighting, speakers, TVs, domestic appliances, children’s toys, smart speakers and smart watches … as well as your computers, laptops and mobile devices.

CSES has compiled a survey is open to all users of consumer smart devices. The aim is to collect evidence on the usage of various types of connected devices, as well as the impact of potential security vulnerabilities and other issues. The survey should take no longer than ten minutes to complete. It is anonymous, and your data will not be collected.

We would appreciate your time and thank you in advance for taking part in this important research.
